To some, ancestry describes who they believe they are, it gives them a sense of purpose and legacy. They see who and where they came from as an inheritance and sense of pride, even if they had no contact to the cultures and customs of the countries they are so proud of.
These self proclaimed heirships have little to no importance on the day to day life of 3rd and 4th generation Canadians, yet many still stand behind it.
This series focused around these sense disconnect of pride and birthright and reality.
