The imposing structure and forms of the human body are key to how humans recognize one another, yet the distorted view that some have of themselves can make their own body an alienated and indistinguishable place.

This series started as an exploration into the scaring effects of of the modern world and all the unseemly things that are meant to be covered and hidden; Through the use of technology I was able to view aspects of my body I had never seen before and as the process continued my body became more and more unrecognizable, imposing and foreign.

The body is expected to be beautiful and shown as a depiction for some other person to enjoy, the views this piece took on became imposing monuments onto themselves, strange and uniquely contorted forms.
